Art Space Mitchelton believe art is for everyone! Conveniently located within Brookside Shopping Centre our classes are relaxed and inclusive. We also offer at home visits should like to participate in arts or craft from the comfort of your home. Sheree and the team at Art Space Mitchelton are dedicated to bringing people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities together for creative experiences. Our classes are caped at 4 participants with Carrers to ensure all participants feel comfortable and are able to be supported by the teaching artist.

If you wish to attend classes independently, but would still like one on one support. Art Space Mitchelton can offer a qualified support worker who has the relevant art training to support you in the medium of your choice.

Art Space Mitchelton Provides a number or Art and Craft classes form both Children and Adults who require additional support. Each NDIS plan is different, as are each persons required outcomes. If you are on a NDIS plan, please send us an email to discuss your specific requirements with NDIS team so you can book classes as part of our social Engagement classes or as part of our Art as Therapy program.

Art Space Mitchelton has a wide range of supportive and inclusive creative classes both group and individual session that can help you reach your capacity building goals. We are happy to work with your OT, Speech Pathologist or other Allied Health Practitioner to assist in you achieving your goals.

What we Offer with our NDIS specific classes and workshops:
NDIS Funding approved classes and workshops
Trained teachers and support staff ensuring that participants are fully supported safely in our Brookside Studio. NDIS Support Staff hold current first aid certificates, Blue Cards, Yellow Cards & Certificate IV in Disability Support & Leisure Therapy (Allied Health)
Fully supported by qualified Allied Health Workers
Small group classes 4-8 participants including Carrers.
Transport available
Safe and inclusive environment
Programs that are individualized and appropriately paced meet each individuals needs and desired outcomes.
We are able to directly invoice your NDIS Plan Manager for payment.
No hidden costs all materials are included in our fees and outline in your NDIS Service Advise Form, supplied to you and your plan manager for any regular art classes or art therapy programs.

In accordance with the NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits 2023-2024 Art Space Mitchelton is can use the following support lines to pay for classes, materials and support.

1:1 Support Line – 04_104_0125_6_1 Access Community Social and Rec Activities – standard weekday, day.
1:2 Support Line – 04_111_0136_6_1 Group Activities in community, 1:2 standard weekday, day
1:3 Support Line – 04_120_0136_6_1 Group Activities in community, 1:3 standard weekday, day
